Sync server for Firefox Sync allows you to sync all your Mozilla Firefox bookmarks, passwords, open tabs and history to your Amahi HDA using Mozilla's Firefox Sync add-on.

This application sets up a personal sync server for use with the Firefox Sync add-on for Firefox.

The Firefox Sync add-on lets you duplicate your Firefox experience across all of your Firefox browsers. You can start a browsing session on your home PC, get up and go, and have everything waiting for you on your phone and work PC: your history, open tabs, bookmarks, the Awesome Bar; all can be synchronised.

Firefox Sync currently supports continuous synchronization of your bookmarks, browsing history, saved passwords and tabs; you can preserve your settings on your own Amahi HDA.

Key points are:

• Get the same results on the Smart Location Bar on each of your Firefox browsers, so you can get to your favourite sites with just a few keystrokes.
• Continue what you were doing: have the ability to open any tab you have open on any of your Firefox browsers.
• Keep the same list of bookmarks on all of your Firefox browsers.
• Easily sign in to all your favourite sites using your saved passwords (this is especially handy on mobile phones, where it’s hard to type in complex passwords).
• Do it all securely: Firefox Sync encrypts user data before uploading it, so that only you can access your data.
